HOMEWORK POLICY
Homework is considered in determining a student's grade; therefore, students should make this a priority during the early evening hours. Homework is not given on Wednesday evening in order to allow children to participate in mid-week church services.
TLC uses an agenda so parents can monitor class work, behavior, and homework assignments. Parents are to read, evaluate, and sign an agenda daily.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE
At least one parent will be required to attend a conference after the first mid term grades are issued. Midterm grades will go out every 4 1/2 weeks after the nine week quarter starts. Please call the school office to set up an appointment for a conference.
If the need arises and a parent desires a conference with a teacher, we ask that you call the school and make an appointment. Likewise the teacher may also require a conference with a parent.
REPORT CARD
Report cards are issued every nine weeks. K5-6th grade should be signed and returned to the teacher no later than two (2) days after being issued. There will be a replacement fee for all lost report cards. Seventh through twelfth grade report cards will be mailed. Grades are issued to evaluate the students work. T. L.
