WE BELIEVE the Bible is God's revelation to man, and we accept it as the
final authority in all matters relating to Christian Faith and Conduct; (2 Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:21)

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the only Way to Heaven, and He is our personal Savior; (John 3:16, 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-13; I John 5:10-13)

WE BELIEVE that every Christian should be baptized, openly confessing
Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord: (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-41; Mark 8:34-38)

WE BELIEVE and preach the basic, fundamental doctrines of the historic Christian Faith within the framework of traditional Methodism.

  • Divine inspiration of the Scriptures
  • The new birth
  • The deity of Christ
  • The virgin birth of Christ
  • The redemptive death of Christ and His resurrection
  • The pre-millennial second coming of Christ
  • Entire sanctification as the second definite work of grace subsequent to regeneration wrought in the heart by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
WE DO NOT believe or practice speaking in tongues or prayer languages in public worship.

WE BELIEVE that each Christian should be an active member of a local
congregation of believers, being regular and faithful in church attendance and Christian service; (Acts 2:41-47; 17:11-12; Hebrews 10:22-25)

WE BELIEVE the Bible teaches that every Christian should support the Lord's work financially by tithes and offerings; (Leviticus 27:30-31; Malachi 3:7-12; Matthew 5:17-20; 6:19-21; I Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8)

WE BELIEVE the Bible teaches that the biblical way to solve conflicts among the brethren is:  (Matthew 18:15-17)

We are THE CONGREGATIONAL METHODIST CHURCH:

WE ARE Methodist in the tradition of John Wesley, Wesleyan-Arminian in doctrine, congregational in our system of worship, republican or representative in our system of government, connectional in nature, missionary in outlook, evangelistic in endeavor, and cooperative in spirit. (Each local church calls its pastor, owns its property, and sets its budget.)
